Like Parelli's Carrot Stick and Clinton Anderson's Handy Stick, this training aid can be used in two ways. Without the string, it can work by extending your reach allowing you to encourage your horse from a safe distance. With the string you can encourage your horse at an even greater distance during activities such as lunging. The string can also be used to desensitize your horse. You can also remove the string and attach other objects, such as plastic bags, to desensitize your horse to.
This training stick is lighter than our custom training sticks. This is because the stick gets a little thinner as it gets closer to the tip.
